This policy explains what we collect when you use Love Cards and why we need it.

We collect information you provide and data generated when you use the service.

Account info: email, name, and profile image (if provided).
Onboarding answers: occupation, age category, and who you create gifts for (target audience).
Projects and content: text, media you upload, and related metadata.
Usage data: page views, referrer, and basic product events (for example: sign in, onboarding steps, project save, share link copy).
Performance data: web performance metrics (Web Vitals) to help us improve speed and reliability.

You control what you share.

If you generate a share link, anyone with that link may view the shared project page.
You can disable share links from the editor.
Do not include sensitive personal data in content you intend to share publicly.

We use trusted third parties to run the service.

Email delivery (Resend) for verification and notifications.
Media storage (S3-compatible object storage) for uploaded files.
Analytics (Umami) to measure usage and improve the product. Our analytics is self hosted on our infrastructure.
Umami may collect page URL, referrer, device/browser details, and performance metrics. It can also store campaign parameters (for example UTM tags) from the URL.
When you are logged in, we may associate analytics events with your account ID and onboarding metadata (age category, language, occupation).
We use Umami session replay with masked data at a low sample rate to improve UX and find issues.

We keep data only for as long as we need it for the purposes described.

You can delete projects; we aim to remove associated media as part of deletion workflows.
We may retain limited logs for security, debugging, and abuse prevention.
Some data may be retained if required by law.

You can manage your data and request changes.

You can update profile details in your account settings.
You can delete your account. We aim to delete your projects and uploaded media as part of the deletion process.
Deletion may take 1-3 days depending on system load and storage processing.
